Keepres=1 Not Working

So I just got a new computer, Windows 7 home, 1366x768 natural resolution. I went into the conquests.ini file and after multiple attempts to allow myself security access to it I finally was able to put keepres=1 in. Unfortunately, it hasnt done anything. Also, there seems to be a good deal less text in the file then I usually see. Im not sure if that means anything. Any other things I might try to fix it?? Thanks a lot.

Where did you find the .ini file? I seem to have 2 conqusts.ini, one in Program Files (x86)>Firaxis Games etc and the other in users>my name>AppData>VirtualStore>Program Files (x86)>Firaxis Games etc. Maybe the one you are changing is not being looked at.

Yep that did it. Thanks a whole lot. It was really causing some issues. I would never have found that otherwise.
