today, after upgrading to the new Firefox (1.5), I keep experiencing a weird problem with CFC (and otehr vbulletin systems):

sometimes, the arrow keys, copy&paste and the PgUp etc key do not work. This is only true for a few tabs or windows and may be different in other, simultaneously open tabs.

    any ideas, anyone??????

    edit: corrected, thank you, classical_hero.

Are you talkinag about Firefox or Mozilla suite? If you are talking about the suite, then you do not have the latest version as I have Mozilla 1.7.11

hm, not really, as I can still mouse-click anywhere into the window and fix them. I jsut can#t go back and forth with arrow keys :(

btw: repeated restarts, both FF and Windoof, didn't help :(

I know your problem. Sometimes that happenes to me, so here is what I do. All I do is click outside of the reply area and then I just click back into the reply and it should work fine. I find that is happens if I press ALT like if I was going to use the quick reply, so try what I have said and see if that fixes the problem.

carlosMM. Mozilla Firefox comes with a swag of information in the Help pages; Mozilla 1.5 has been updated since September and now comes with automatic update links. Another suggestion would be to join their forum pages and ask questions there as well. I've experienced problems with different things from time to time and I usually get answers. (another new feature is an automatic report page - any problems experienced are sent straight to the Firefox technical staff) Hope this may be of help to you.;)

Have a look at forums.mozilla.org, you should be able to get the help and advice you need. By the way, have you investigated the Help button on your navigation toolbar? As for Internet Explorer?:nuke: :p

thank you for the hint - I have looked through there and didn't see any hints regarding trouble with vbulletin. But, the problem is now solved: I re-installed FF 1.5 and since then, whenever the problem surfeces, a simple click outside the reply box makes it work fine.

    thanx again, btw, classical_heor!

that has nothing to do with your beliefs, but with your character and knowledge. And, whatever your opinions are (I do not care about your beliefs, as you well know), you are a helpful and friendly person. As am I, usually, I like to think ;)

Only a few. You've just hit 6,600 posts; congrats - do we get a cake or something from Civ Fanatics if we reach milestones like that? (question from a wannabe prince).

The trick to keep your postcount intact is to camouflage your spam as actual debate.
