There is o lawyer that can help - you are working on the fundamentally flawed premise that yelling at the powersthat be that they are idiots endears you to them enough to convice them to agree with your argument. Ass in criminal justice, if you don't own up, you'll never get out.

Listen to downtown. It doesn't matter what the situation is, just listen to downtown. From what I can make out of the OP, I think I agree with you, but regardless, listen to downtown.

This is always true. Always.

I don't understand the OP. Seriously I don't. Can someone translate it for me in Queens English?

I don't think so. :(

Usually when a kid says they were suspended for nothing, it's ALWAYS something.

I think your choices are simple:

If you want to get through school, get an education, and make a good living, then you should not send that letter, suck it up, and apologize. Regardless of whether you're wrong or right.

If you want to be a loser for the rest of your life, flipping burgers, and without an education, then you should send that letter. It will give you some satisfaction, but it'll screw you over in the long run. Regardless of whether you're wrong or right.

It's your choice.

I used to misbehave and skip class in novemeber.

I don't wanna be the 'problem student' in your eyes,

I was Expelled from the school even for no reason.

i think they are xenophobic, Afraid to open up to new races and tradition

with power comes corruption.

You screwed up bad. Just apologise and repeat the damm grade again
From what I can gather it seems you dont have enough attendance to clear the grade requirements. Just accept it and move on

Get through school, then document their transgressions against you -- with hard solid evidence. Survive school, out them with the evidence in the future.

I hope you don't mind, I thought that letter was great. I thought it was so great that I have penciled in my own name and am e-mailing it to my Dean right now. I need to get re-instated too!

Oh, why most you toy with the youngin's life?

You should stay in school until you learn how to write well. At least.

Yeah, as others have said, unless there is some real abuse going on here that we can't deduce from your story, just suck it up, do what they say, dot all the i's and cross all the t's, jump through the hoops, and get through school. It's not like the non-problematic kids have an easy 12 years in which they are treated perfectly. Dealing with bureaucratic silliness is part of the whole deal, and the trick is choosing your battles carefully, keeping your good name and learning as much as you can. If that means you need to swallow your pride sometimes, then so be it. Kids that stood up for what was "right" were maybe justified 1/50 times in my experience, and 49/50 times they could have just done what they were told and would have been left alone soon enough. Yes, I'm telling you to suck up.

Oh you authoritarian, you.

Are you talking about English English, British English, or Queens, New York English?

Dear _____

I do not understand why I have been called to this meeting when, to my understanding, the issue had already been resolved when I showed ________ my completed work. While I realize it may be rude for me to ask questions about orders rather than just following them, I ask because I feel it is necessary to ensure fair treatment for a student such as myself. After I learned why the orders were given I complied with the orders given to me. So at that point I considered the situation was dealt with so I do not understand why this meeting is taking place.

I was once told "Don't think you're any more special than any of these students here, you're just like everyone else". If this statement is true, then why am I being treated differently now? Since the second semester I have been going to meetings about my work and behavior over minor, trivial things. Yes, I did have some difficulties in November which I admit was entirely my fault, but I have changed my life since then. I've redeveloped my behavior to the standards set by the school and my school work has exceeded the contract standards. I have several teachers who can verify that I am a good student now.

What I am hoping for is for some teachers (administrators?) to stop holding my past against me. I am no longer the student who skips class everyday and misbehaves. But since some teachers (administrators?) still think I will be doing those things they treat me differently than the other students and this attitude from the teachers (administrators?) causes me to have to defend myself and makes it look like I am causing problems.

I still do not understand exactly why I was expelled. And now I was put back into a class I do not want to be in and this will cause me to be short 2 credits. When a school demands excellence from it's students, I think the students should expect excellence from it's school. It does not look good for the school when I was told I got deleted from the system!

Conclusion: I feel that a student does not have enough representation when having to deal with the school administration or meetings to ensure the student is treated fairly.

Sincerely,
_______ AKA warhead5654

Note: I put (administrators?) because I wasn't exactly sure who the OP was referring to. I re-worded his argument trying to make his case the most favorable for him that I could (even if I didn't believe him or agree with him). And I dropped out all of the racist claims made in the OP as that would surely not help him.

Yeah, I think that's what really happened.

Bamspeedy has it spot on.

I don't think that "sucking it up" is a viable option, nor is it fair. You have to state your case, I would be disappointed in you if you didn't. Be honest with yourself, and if you truly think you are in the right, then you should not admit to being wrong (of course, there is a very large grey area between right and wrong and you may be somewhere in there).

However, how you state your case is very important. If you want reason and respect from others, you have to show that you can give it too. The letter written by Bamspeedy above is a good example of that. It makes the very point you want to make, but it is written in a dimplomatic way that will be more acceptable to those you are tyring to send the message to.

If you undertand this point, you have already taken your first step to becoming a lawyer.

I cannot see any way sending in that letter will help matters. Even if you clean up the atrocious spelling and grammar it's really only going to make things worse. As others have pointed out, if the school is genuinely in the wrong as you say, sending them a letter (particularly something like the OP) is not going to change anything.

In all honesty I doubt the school is in the wrong here. Yes it is possible to end up against someone vindictive in a position of authority at a school, but for every real case there's hundreds more of people trying to dump the blame for their own mistakes onto someone else. Your rather vague explanation of what you've been kicked out smells strongly like that to me. Even if they do have some unfair issue with you, they'd still have to give a specific reason. There are mentions of both skipping school and only completing most of your work - care to elaborate? The real giveaway is of course your use of the race card at the end. Somehow I've a feeling you're the source of the problem here.

sure, with power, comes corruptions, they are lyers, there stories don't add up, i caught them in a lie. that letter WILL save me. :D.

at least my stories add up.
