Do you remember the PS2 game Killzone?

    if not sneak peak here:

    http://www.gamespot.com/search.html?qs=killzone&sub=m&stype=11&type=11

watch video #11 and youll se what i mean.

That game would be awsome to make atleast a scenario to civ3!

With atleast 1 evil-empire and 1 good-guy that are something to work with.

This could be a really good dark-future with really polluted cities mod!

tech tech tree could be a divided into different "phases".

is it possible to have different ages for different civs?

a planetfall era for just for hellgast and a defence age for vectra?

#1 planet fall: low unit production and high numbers of starting units

#2 area secured: now you can start to build in your conquered cities

#3 industries: vast ammounts of resource securing and industrial complexes so that you could churn out the more expensive units.

there could also be 2 different tech trees if you give the 2 factions a prereq starting tech that cannot be traded.

hellgast - heavier infantry and perhaps mindcontrol or propaganda enhancements (= more happy people) and more industries.

vectra - more infantry and tanks and stuff like that.

    governments

hellgast - dictatorial and pop rushing, forced resettle (clear out those pesky resisters)
vectra- freedom loving and paid labour

but the main armies should be infantry and other rather "low tech" units.

the cities would be really polluted and dark for hellgast and a little more good looking for the other faction.
