Great Work there.

Here is my development path that I have planned out

Version 0.21-0.29, I will be refining the unit stats to get the AI right. Graphics is secondary in this phase of the development.
Version 0.3, I will be aiming for updated unit graphics to reflect my new type of units.
Version 0.4, I will try to incorporate those leaders. Add my list of Generals.
....
Version 0.5, I will work on the Pacific Map
Version 0.6, I will work on the Global Assault Map - For kuff-dam :)
...
Version 0.7, (t.b.c.)
Version 0.8, (t.b.c.)
...
Version 0.9, Single install file development to install the Mod.
...
Version 1.0 Full Release and hopefully Publish on here.

At first, thank you very much for the addon for this great Mod. I have a suggestion to the previous Post. You would make at point 9 one single File for Download. My suggestion is: when you do that at first ,many other people can help out to find bugs in your addon.
The installation of so many Files scare the Peoples;)

Yeah that is my intention. One file only. However it is Skills I do not have yet. I'll need to discuss it in the Modding forums later this year.

Anyhow, here is version 0.21-22 which fixes a few of the issues I had found with version 0.2.
Spoiler :
Bitter Winter now reduces food production
NOTE: You will still need version 0.2 files.

NEED MORE TESTERS FEEDBACK PLEASE ! - Thank you in advance :)

NEED MORE TESTERS FEEDBACK PLEASE ! ......... i found the generals didn't wanna attatch to tanks and infantry , only units such as paratroops , quite confusing

Version 0.3, I will be aiming for updated unit graphics to reflect my new type of units............ something desperately needs to be done about the USA inf , they suck

Generals have been fixed in version 0.21/0.22.

It annoyed me too.

Thanks for your fedback

hey mate, this looks very interesting. Sorry but which are the actual files I need for this, just those at the beginning of this thread?

If you want to see my initial thoughts use "Version 0.1 Initial release"

If you want to use my latest development use "Version 0.2 Next release" with "Version 0.22 Bug Fixes" for 0.2

I plan to remove all versions from this thread soon and just have the required files at the start of the thread. Which I may do this weekend.

All future changes and updates will be on the first page of the thread now. You no longer need to look through the thread.

i've edited this , which gives South Africa ,Canada , Australia and New Zealand Commonwealth infantry , spitfires etc

(file removed , see post below)

Thanks for that. I may incorporate it.

RE: Aircraft

Or alternatively I go use a similar structure to Squadrons, Groups, Wings

NOTE: The British used the reverse of this, i.e. Squadrons, Wings then Groups as opposed to .

The base squadron unit would have to be an averaging of all aircraft of the Class. Fighters will be given some level of bombing capability to reflect dive-bombers (i.e. Attack Aircraft)

This development would align with my Divisions, Corps, Armies I used for ground units.

seems quie complex , and i was thinking of doing it for most allied nations , but historcally they fell because they had weak military forces

besides , commonwealth forces should be just that , for the commonwealth

i'm giving it a quick play test now on immortal level having won the war in 43 with Britain on emperor level last week

seems quiet complex
I know. But It is worth it in the end.

Whereas Dales was Infantry vs Tanks vs Planes vs Ships

Mine is Division vs Armoured Divisions vs Squadrons vs Ships.

RE: Ships, I may alter the cost of Ships to reflect the tonnage required to produce. Or Alternatively make Destroyers a Destroyer Flotilla

My Alternative for Bombers is this;

Bomber Tech I
Bomber Tech II
Bomber Tech III

Each country would have different Bomber Squadrons

e.g.

Code:
Bomber I Bomber II Bomber III
Germany Ju-87 Ju-88 Ar 234
England Wellington Lancaster Typhoon
USA B-17 B-25 B-29
Russia ANT-40 Il-2 Tu-2

This would allow Dive-Bombers to appear at different stages in different nations.

Some nations may not get Bomber II or III techs if they did not develop them.

For my graphics enhancements, I will be incorporating the make-up of Corps and Amies. i.e. if it is an all infantry corps it will contain 3 figures of infantry. A mixed corps will have a combination of infantry and armor and if it has ranged combat capabilities I will include an artillery figure. I may have to reduce the figures sizes accordingly. A division will be represented by only one figure, and a small one at that. A Corps made of 3-4 small figures. An army 3-4 medium figures and an army group 3-4 large figures. This should help to easy distinguish between the size of the units and strength of units.
