    1. In which war was the battle of Koniggratz?
Answer: The Seven Weeks war (Austria and Prussia)

    2. What year did the battle take place?
    Answer:1866

    3. Who was the commander of the victorious side?
Answer: I think it was Von Moltke - he was the real military genius behind Bismarck, anyway.

    4. What was the technological advantage that the victors had?
Answer: Don't know about that - I was taught that the Prussians/Germans had a 'Kriegsakademie' for the training of officers, which made a massive difference in the field.

    5. Who was the Lion of Nachod?
Answer: He was the second cousin of the 'ocelot of Bucharest'. Erm, no, I don't know at all.

As for the technological advantage for the prussians...:

They were using a breech-loader rifle, for the austrians still had a muzzle-loader

Yep, that would be the Dreyse Rifle, also known as the Needle Gun.

It was the first bolt action rifle to enter military service and could fire many times in the time a muzzel loaded rifle could fire once and the the user could do so lying down.

OK we're down to the last question.
