Lake Spawn Bias, RiverEdgeCount, and DiplomaticYieldSource

I have 3 separate modding issues that are completely unrelated to each other. Just wondering if anybody knows how to handle these or wants to help document/develop a solution.

1) Is there a way to create a Lake Spawn Bias? It seems that Lakes are neither Features nor Terrains, so I'm not sure how to tell the game to spawn a Civ near some...

2) There is a getRiverEdgeCount lua function in the files which is unused. I assume this counts the number of river edges surround the tile, but I haven't had time to test the function. Anyone know if it works or how to use it?

3) Australia and Persia introduced some interesting modifiers which require a "DiplomaticYieldSource" to be triggered. I'm having significant trouble getting anything other than the examples Firaxis provided to work. Anyone know the syntax for the other types of Diplomatic Sources? We have 'war declaration received', 'surprise war initiated', and 'liberation' so far (paraphrased)
