Someone please explain this to me -

Polar ice melts and you get flooding of a lake in the middle of a desert? How does that happen?

Civ VI must know the difference between a lake and a sea, or Hue Teocali wouldn't work (and it labels the water a lake in any case). So a rise in sea level should not cause lakes to flood.

Shouldn't happen in vanilla (by the map generator just not placing vulnerable tiles around lakes), but IIRC there is a mod out there allowing this.

Happens a lot on primordial map types, weird and annoying, yep. It generates a ton of coastal lowland on any inland lake

Was probably primordial. I have seen it before, but I use primordial a lot, so I can't say for sure it ever happened on another map type. Definitely not mod-related.
