I would like to play multiplayer using the two Macs I have at home but have only one version of Civ 3 Complete. Does anyone know if I can do this without having to purchase a second copy? All advice gratefully received.
There was some discussion of this when Civ3 Complete first came out. I don't recall whether you need two licenses to play a LAN game, but you may be able to find the thread with a search here.
@dirtworm:
You can run the PC version of Civ3 in Bootcamp, VMWare Fusion or Parallels Desktop on an Intel Mac, but you need a copy of Windows.
If you go the route of using the PC version then both Macs would have to run it as the Mac and PC versions are incompatible for LAN play.
