Land and air transports

I noted that in Civ 4 theres no helicopter to transport paradroppers, a feature that was present in Civ 3. Also, like in Civ 3, theres no land transport. Is it possible to modify the game to include land and air transports?

Paradroppers transport themselves.

as for Land Transport possibilities.. I'm not sure.

I assume there is no land transport (I assume you mean for infantry) because there is already a Mechanized Infantry unit. I always assumed that that represented the APC's and the infantry they carried...

Land transport for modern divisions are called trains.

Maybe Dreadnoughts should act as land transports. So they'd be slightly less freaking stupid than they are now. Slightly.

A transport helicopter would be good I think. Its not just paratroopers that use helicopters, in fact these days, actually paradropping troops is very rare. Marines in Iraq are transported around by helicopter, I think a chinook or black hawk style unit would be a great addition. Think of Vietnam too...
