Laptop For Optimal Settings

Hi everyone- I'm new to the forums but have been lurking for a while. I am considering making the jump to PC for this game.

I've always been a console player and have never owned a gaming PC. While I am sure a desktop is ideal for PC gaming, I would prefer a laptop for convenience/space purposes.

Could anyone recommend gaming laptops that can run Civ 6 at its highest settings? I'm not sure if a laptop is powerful enough, but if I'm going to make this investment, I'd prefer to play at optimal performance.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have an HP Omen17 w/1070GTX graphics. It is slow when turned all the way up, but totally playable (and looks great) at modestly lower settings.

I am using ASUS G501V. It works on highest settings, but struggles a bit on Huge (and larger mod maps)
