lost civantares, -1390 a turn?
Sweet city, by the way.
Biggest city I ever had was probably around 24. My cities rarely ever hit over 20.
In one game I had four cities with population 31-32, produced naturally.
around 27 brfore biology and 37 with future tech
Ok, you can't count artificially built cities, that's just stupid! Nor can you count captured cities, they have to be cities you raised from scratch yourself, with no artificial interference.
I just had a city at 29 in the game I finished that I saw in the top 5 cities list, but I forgot to check all my cities. I always have loads of cities in the 20's but never over really. The map just never seems to be good enough for it.
Can someone explain the formula for working out city size based on food produced? How much food do you need to increase a level, etc?
30 was my largest city. Twas my GP farm and I had grassland farms spammed quite nicely. Would have been bigger but my health scuppered me (Had around -8 food). If I had a chance to build hospitals and such probably would have been bigger. But who builds hospitals when you have to beat the AI's space race?
mine is 24...
28 or 29 i think, it was awesome
Nice... I hadn't figured on the effect of great merchants...
i once had Washington with 24 and New York at 20 but thats about it
The largest city for me was 28. But that was a settler game.
