Last Cavalry Charge

I'm pretty sure there have still been 'cavalry charges' in some the conflicts in Saharan Africa, like with the Jajaweed in Darfur or the civil war in Mali, though I couldn't point to any sources as those conflicts are poorly covered at the best of times.
 
did them Americans charge firing from the saddle ? Now that they would have no place to carry lances and sabres with their military grade laptops and satellite phones and all that .

ı don't think even the El Salvadoran "charge" in 1969 was a charge , but a mounted advance and all that .
