Hi guys,
Just wanted to make a list of performance issues I observed during my games in CIV 6 R&F. Not many for a moment, the R&F is live for only 2 weeks.
(all points are observed in normal, not strategical view during atomic and information eras)*
Negative performance points :
Trade routes path calculation :
The game struggles a lot calculating path when you choose a trader. On one of my games (continents, 8 players) it took sometimes 2 seconds to appear the list of possible trade routes in information era.
Beginning of the turn late game :
In the beginning of each turn, the counter in bottom right displays for a notable amount of time the message "please wait" (or smth like that, i do not play in english)
Positive performance improvements :
The screen with a leader when they for example declare war on you appears almost instantly now. Was not the case before.
Please feel free to add your observations. I hope CIv devs are reading from time to time forums like this one
*I think you can also have these issues before late eras, all depends on the map size and number of players.
