I have VISTA 64-Bit. Games works well, however to load the game, I always have to launch the CR-ROM. Is there a way I can create a shortcut to put on the desktop? I know how to do this but I can't find the target. I checked all the Civ4 Colonization folders installed on my PC but I can't find the exe file.

Am I looking in the wrong places?

Try the following path.
C:\Program Files\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Colonization where C: is the drive letter of the hard drive you installed the game on. This is the default install location and the Colonization.exe should be there. Please note that the game will always demand the CD be inserted due to the security scheme used by Colonization.

That's the weird thing. It's not there. For some reason, it's like I am running the game from the CD-Rom. When I installed it, it didn't give me any options. I assumed it installed the game like CIV4 or BTS.

Thanks anyways.

Copy the icon from Games Explorer in the Games item of the start menu. :)
