Do leader bonuses such as leader Himiko, High Shaman's "+20% Culture but -10% Science" apply to only tile yields in cities or also other sources of Culture/Science/etc., such as Narrative Events and Founder Beliefs? Perhaps someone could look into the game files to see how High Shaman is coded and/or tell me how to read game files to find out. I am trying to min/max my incomes. It's not prudent to dump Science completely even when playing as High Shaman, so I'll be picking some Science rewards, etc., and I'd rather be getting it from sources which aren't reduced at all.

It depends on the phrasing of the bonus/reward. I would assume that the raw bonuses from events (e.g., +200 science) are unmodified, except if you use them for something that you have a bonus towards (e.g., 20% towards researching masteries), as the latter is different from a % bonus on yields.

Hi. I tested the "Friend of Wie" Bonus of Himiko, that gives +25% Science bonus as endeavor with an ally. The picture shows the yield with and without that bonus, all other things equal. You can see that the 25% bonus is applied to the total of 25 science, including the yields from settlements. However, it is not displayed in the settlement yields but applied "after". I'm not sure about one time science gains you get from narrative events though.
