Hello Everyone,

Has someone mastered a leader-civilization matrix and/or spreadsheet? :mischief:

Perhaps even a list of all the leaders and civilizations, their traits, UBs, and UUs would probably do...But a matrix would be cool.

Thank you for any help. I will relay what you say to my Civ4 family.:)

Regards to all!

Here's a spreadsheet I made myself.

NOTE: Apparently civfanatics doesn't let me upload .xls files. To access this file, change the ".txt" extension to ".xls" and it will be Excel-readable.

Ringan: Thanks for sending me your spreadsheet!

Tempacc: That reference is nice because you see the information all in one place.

Mixing & Matching
-----------------

Looking at the references, if I mix Washington with France do I get:

1. George Washington
Universal Suffrage Charismatic
• +1 per City
• -25% XP Needed for Unit Promotions
• +1 from Monument, Broadcast Tower
Expansive
• +2 per City
• +25% for Worker
• +100% for Granary, Harbor

AND...

The Techs: Agriculture & The Wheel
UU: Musketeer
UB: Salon

Is that how mixing and matching leaders with civs work?

What does the "favorite civic" for each leader do for you?

For instance, Washington's favorite civic is Universal Suffrage. Does that mean that this is shown at the openning of the game as a civic choice, and/or is cheaper to use than usual?

Thanks for any enlightenment!

I believe that the favorite civic is just when the AI has the option to choose that civic they will in most circumstances. This is potentially good to know when you make your civic choices for the diplo bonus you will get with that leader...AFAIK it does not do anything for your civilization.
