    Ok, I think the most people have read/found out that Leaderheads can have the Animation of another LH. Unfortunately not every combination works. So I want to post the results that I know:

    Frederick (.nif, .dds, .kfm)
    works with (.kf) of: Washington
    doesnt work with: Mao, Alexander, Victoria

    Asoka
    works with: ?
    doesnt work with: Alexander, Mao, Tokogawa, Peter

    Huayna
    works with: Julius
    doesnt work with: Otto

    Montezuma
    works with: Julius
    doesnt work with: Frederick

    Alexander
    works with: Julius
    doesnt work with: Napoleon

    Julius
    works with: Alex (Pizzaboy or Gigolo), Napoleon (but the arms are bad)
    doesnt work with:

    Louis
    works with: ?
    doesnt work with: Mao, Victoria, Peter, Frederick or Alexander

    Sid
    doesnt work with: Mao, Asoka, Victoria, Otto
    a lot of stuff apear when you give him new animations, I suppose he shuld be the base for animated avisors.

    I looked at a lot of combos, too, and boy were some of them horrific! Try FDR with Alexander's animations, or Huayna Capac with Tokugawa.

    I know you asked me for a list of these a while back but I never wrote them down originally and I haven't gotten around to rediscovering them yet. However, here are a few working combos that I remember (I don't necessarily remember all the combinations that do or don't work, sorry):

    Asoka 3D LH
    works with animations of: FDR

    Cyrus
    3D LH
    works with animations of: Elizabeth, Asoka

    Elizabeth 3D LH
    works with animations of: Cyrus (with slight NIF editing to move her teeth farther back)

    Gandhi 3D LH
    works with animations of: Hatshepsut, maybe?

    Genghis 3D LH
    works with animations of: Washington, FDR (with an odd dimple that is not too noticable - see Brian Boru in my modpack)

    Hatshepsut 3D LH

    works with animations of: Gandhi
    Doesn't work with animations of: pretty much everybody else (I Think)

    Huayna 3D LH
    works with animations of: Julius (as noted by Chamaedrys)
    Doesn't work with animations of: pretty much everybody else

    Isabella
    3D LH
    works with animations of: Elizabeth

    Kublai Khan 3D LH
    works with animations of: No one straight out of the box. All other animations will cause the 3D model to lie on it's side mostly below the image frame. This is also true of any other LH model if you try to use Kublai's animations on them. However, I have discovered that you can use other LH's animations on the Kublai model IF you first edit it in the NIF Viewer and change the XYZ Local Rotation numbers. If this is done, then the animations of Mao, FDR, & Qin Shi Huang will work on it. For an example of this, check out Jayavarman of Khmer in Civ Gold 2.0 when it is released soon.

    Mansa Musa
    3D LH
    works with animations of: Asoka, Peter

    Mao 3D LH
    works with animations of: Asoka

    Montezuma 3D LH
    works with animations of: Saladin, Julius

    Peter
    3D LH
    works with animations of: Tokugawa

    Qin Shi Huang 3D LH

    works with animations of: Mansa Musa

    Saladin 3D LH
    works with animations of: Montezuma

    Tokugawa
    3D LH
    works with animations of: Peter

    Victoria
    3D LH
    works with animations of: FDR

    Washington 3D LH
    works with animations of: Frederick

    One last thing of note: Usually if you find a combination that works, it will work in reverse. Example: the Cyrus LH will work with Elizabeth's animations and the Elizabeth LH will work with Cyrus's animations. [EDIT] I have since found that this is not necessarily true.

    Sid will work as a normal LH if the extra tutorial animations are removed in the NIF Viewer. I did that once and the LH appeared to function normally (without any extra props/items attached to it) however he has such a distinct look that I didn't know who to make him into.

    At one time, I had joked that he looked an awful lot like Jimmy Buffet but I don't think the Civfanatics community (or anyone else) is ready for a Parrothead nation civ with a Groupie UU :lol:

    the games crash a fter importing leaderhead made in 3ds max to the game :(

    Thanks for your contributions, guys!

    My latest discovery: Tokugawa works with Huayna's animations - but unfortunately the eye lids are transparent :eek: . Removing the eye lids or adding glasses could maybe solve the problem, but I did not try it out.

    say what is it you use to do stuff like that to the leaderheads???

    @Slavic Sioux: We take all the .nif, all .dds and the kfm file of one Leader and the kf files of another Leader. The kf determints the moves of a Leader. Now we gave the kf's the names of the kf's of our first Leader. Some cominations are working, some don't and some look funny;)

    some working combinations:

    Louis works with Napoleon (showy) and Saladin (wise) animations

    any ideas for a showy or a wise renaissance Leader??

    Stalin's animations don't work with FDR. FDR's head gets deformed if you try. Stalin's animations do work with Gandhi, though.

    Could someone write up a tutorial on how to attach different animations? It would be GREATLY appreciated. :D
    Edit, just found out LOL. So simple.
    Tips:
    DO NOT ATTACH BISMARCK'S ANIMATIONS TO NAPOLEON. You will not be able to sleep tonight.
    DO NOT ATTACH STALIN'S ANIMATIONS TO CHURCHILL. OR DE GAULLES. You will not sleep for a week.

    Sure, it's simple. Let's say you want to add Bismarck's animations to napoleon (NOT RECOMMENDED :) ) you would simply copy Bismarck's animations into Napoleon's LH folder, and rename "bimarck" to "napoleon" and delete the existing animations of napoleon. :D

    You know, I was just thinking of this.
    I looked a little into leaderheads, and I think you could probably get any LH to work with any other's animations. How? The reason they do not work with others atm (Mainly) is that the main bone is called different. It is normally named after the leaderhead. The rest of the bones (eye, arm etc) are the same. So if you just rename the main bone to the one that the "new" animations work with it should work. Why some of the ones do work now is because they have it named as the other leaders main bone (I think Catherine's main bone is the same as Isabella's for example.)
    No guarantees it will look right though. ;)

    Hmm...I'll try that. I'm making a Napoleon LH with Stalin animations (napoleon's move side-to-side too much) and it doesn't look half bad, but I'd like the clavicals to be higher than the shoulders. :lol:

    Hmm? You just take the animations you want for a LH. Example
    Bismarck LH folder:
    greeting
    affirmative
    negative
    pleased
    cautious
    friendly
    annoyed
    furious
    All of those will be Bismarcks animations.
    In Napoleons you have the same thing, except they're named with Napoleon before it. So all you have to do is delete Napoleon's existin animation files, then move bismarcks into hte folder and rename "bismarck" to "napoleon". :king:
