I tried to shader esnaz' Corvinus, which is based on Juao II / John II. Actually I had success, besides of a weird effect. If I open Civiliopedia first time and first leader I select to display is Corvinus then he is almost completely black. I can see the background and some small light parts on his body, like the eyes, but the rest is black. If I then select another leader and then go back to Corvinus, then the LH works. Same in Sceneviewer. If Corvinus is the first LH I open, he is black. If I load another LH and then open Corvinus (without closing and restarting Sceneviewer) I can see him.

What I've done for shadering it, is importing it in 3dsmax, adding the shader the way ploeperpengel describes, exporting it and then copying the shadered parts in nifskope back into the original nif where I replace the old parts. Just as "Master" Refar taught me and like I did it several times before without having problems.

From what I can see lights are there in the scene and also affecting the meshs. I played around with alpha and material settings, even copied them back from the original nif (another hint by my wise Master), but it didn't help. Did anyone have this problem before?

I could upload the nif and a screenshot of the LH, but I hoped anyone already had this problem and could help me without uploading anything. The later wouldn't help you anyways, you really wouldn't see anything else then I told you before.

I think you merged the new Shaded LH onto a nonshader base nif (It does not have scene lights). Need to use the shadernif's of the same base LH for shaded version.... Or try just copy-pasting the lights (Its usually a set of 4 or 6 lightsources) from another shaded nif into yours... I didn't try it myself, but i don't see any good reason, why it wouldn't work...

So you mean either copy my shadered parts in John II shadered version or copy the lights from John II shadered version into my LH, right? Thank you, my Master! I'll try that later. :D Most probably I'll try tip 2 before tip 1 as it seems to be easier to me...

BTW: Wouldn't it be cool to have a lightsaber swinging sponge (is your avatar actually a sponge?) for the Jedi collection? Someone needs to do that...

Oh, yeah. Bernd das Brot. Heard of him, but never saw anything with him. A Jedi-Bread could be cool as well...

Okay, I try out now what you have said and report later.

That solved the problem! Worked immediatly after copying the lights from John. I also think that shadering definately improved the quality of the LH. I wish I could say that about the Kossuth LH... Maybe there is something wrong with the maps... Anyways, all I need for Corvinus would be the thing that I requested from Methyl...

Thank you, Refar!
