Leaderhead problem....

Hello all.

Just installed FFH2 for the first time.
Went to start up a new game, & found that the leaderheads aren't rendering properly...

I'm running 3.19.
My installation procedure went as follows:
-Installed FFH2
-Installed media pack
-Installed patch b

Is this a known issue?
Any ideas as to how to fix?

You are using an old version of the 0.41 installer, which has corrupted leaderheads. A newer version of the installer has been released, which corrects this problem. You will need to delete your current installer and download a new copy, then reinstall FfH2.

Unfortunately, right now there's something going on with the site that hosts the FfH2 installer. It isn't letting people download the file for some reason. So I wouldn't delete or uninstall anything until that problem is fixed.

I have the same problem I just installed 3.19, redownloaded ffh2 and then installed it and then istalled patch B still broken leaderheads.

any ideas?

DL-d suppose to be "new" ff2 install file about 2 hours ago, still broken leaderheads.

The version of the FfH2 installer with the corrected leaderheads is 376,681 KB in size (as reported by Windows). If the installer you've downloaded is smaller than that then you may experience the broken leaderheads problem. The patches don't affect the problem.

I believe that is the official download location for the FfH2 installer, but the last time I checked (last night some time) it was supplying an older version of the installer (size 374,664 KB as reported by Windows). Some users of that version have reported problems which were subsequently corrected by the 376,681 KB version of the installer when it was released.

At this time I am not aware of any place that is offering the 376,681 KB version for download.

I reported this problem in the Bug Thread last night, but there have been reports of the leaderhead problem by people who have downloaded and installed FfH2 since then - so I don't believe the 376,681 KB has been made available again.

I'm not sure why the older version of the installer is being linked...I assume it's just a mixup.

A new FfH2 installer is now linked in the first post of the Bug Thread. This installer includes the version of 0.41 with corrected leaderheads, plus patch D. Downloading and reinstalling using that installer, named "FallfromHeaven2041d.exe", should correct the corrupted leaderheads problem.
