Leaders a lot better in Civ V and VI. These look werid.

One place I think they could improve inmersion within the diplo screen without redoing the whole thing is the civ banners. Right now the leaders come across clearly as to who you are talking to, the civ? not so much. They have these generic banners, that well, are just that: generic, and they don't accomplish anything the civ ribbon doesn't already do (color and emblem, leader in front) and I think they could be so much more.

If instead of a banner it showed actual banners, sculptures, or textiles from that civ, it would do so much more for the diplo screen immersion. things like:

• Roman legion banners
• Mayan Steele or feather banners
• French flags,
• etc

Sort of like the diplo scren version of Baldwin IV meetin Saladin in kingdom from heaven you know? if leaders are going to be face to face, stuff like:

or we could be stuck with a bland banner for all of Civ VII...that as well.

The banners are pretty clear to be honest, it’s the backgrounds I want to change (even just using the loading screen art)
