Leaders that should be added to Civ

(If I'm putting this thread in the wrong forum, don't shoot me! I'm still noob!)

I think that some important leaders in history have been left out.

There are also other leaders I think should be added to other civs:

Nebuchadezzar II (Babylonia)
He was the king who freed Babylon from Assyrian control and built the Hanging Gardens.

Traits: Protective: It syncs better with the Bowman UU
Industrious: Because he built the Hanging Gardens and many other improvements around his empire.

Favourite Civic: Hereditary Rule: Natural for leaders who are kings.

Why he should be in Civ: For a bit more historical accuracy and depth. Also Hammurabi doesn't really sync up with his UU.

Thutmoses III (Egypt)
He expanded Egypt greatly after the rule of Hatshepsut and sometimes considered "The Napoleon the Ancient World"

Traits: Spiritual: Following the trend of Spiritual Egyptian leaders.
Aggressive: Because he expanded Egypt quite a lot.

Why he should be in Civ: I didn't see any leaders for Egypt having a leader that lets them fully take advantage of their awesome UU.

That's it for now. Post what you think. If you people like them, I'll post some more.

In two month, it's only the third thread that talk of that. And Hitler came back nearby every time. This time at least, they were not too much stupidity said about him.

But did I post in the wrong thread?
AFAIK it's the good section, but upping the last thread would have been better.
And what do you think of my leader ideas?
Most of them have been discussed a lot. Some forget a main principe : leader does not have trait that directly make combo with unit. That's why Gilgamesh is protector / creative with an attack UU and a UB courthosue, where Hammurabi is Agg / org with an archer UU and a UB not reduced by organized. They are exception :
* china leader, protective + chukonu
* frederick, organized with a factory UB
* maybe some others
But, you really shouldn't try to pack combos. It's just plain boring, and a good way to make overpowered thingie (Churchill of Mali anyone ?)

Hideki Tojo (Japan)
He was the leader of Japan during and a little before WWII.

He was merely the chief administrator and not the leader. The country was still ruled by Emperor Hirohito.

Adolf Hitler (Germany) (No, I'm not a Nazi, Neo Nazi, or a Nazi sympathizer)
He was considered the main antagonist in WWII.

Far too controversial, he's still villified in large parts of the world. Firaxis wouldn't even be allowed to sell the game at all in Germany if he was in it, and many people in Europe would protest his inclusion.

The same would probably be true of Tojo or Hirohito in the Pacific countries. It wouldn't be very good marketing on Firaxis' part, as including either of those would probably prevent them from selling the game in the Chinese market at least.

Hirohito was merely a figurehead for Tojo, who had the real power. All the Emperor did was sit in his biology lab all day and occasionally come out for a few speechs.

Well, Hitler and Tojo can't be included because they were villianized, but what about Stalin? Communism related governments killed over 100 million people. Why is Stalin included?

Well, I don't feel like starting a flame war so let this topic rest. What about my other leaders?

Please, search the forums. I believe about 30 person already explain theirs opinions on that, it's not that hard to find.

While I agree it would be a marketing nightmare (and thus a bad business decision) - putting Hitler into the game would not make it illegal to sell the game in Germany - this is a common misperception about the German laws governing unconstitutional organisations. Using a swastika to acompany his leaderhead might (though as long as they can make an argument that its used in an artistic and/or educational work they'd get around even that) - using just him as a leader would not in any way cause legal troubles. Now it would be toxic to put it on the shelves for public opinion reasons...

I was under the impression that even displaying his image was against the law. Though I suppose his mug is still around in history books here and there, but that's about it.

He was one of the good guys during WW2, and history is written by the victors. If you look at all the leaders in the game, most will have alot of blood on thier hands. Like Ghenghis Khan for instance. That alone isn't enough to keep them out of the game, but current marketing attitudes will. Try adding Chiang Kai-shek as a Chinese leader and see how well the game sells there, if it it was even allowed to be sold.

Tojo is definitely a good choice for leader. Hirohito was little more than a figurehead. Too bad there's no Tojo LH.

Ok people, please stop talking about Tojo and Hitler. Please take the time to look at THE ONLY LEADERS POSTED at the first post.

As I already said, they are with bad trait in regard to civ design. Also, they are pretty minor and their trait are totally out of character.

Egyptian are NOT aggressive peoples anyway.
