    Spoiler :

That's definitely the infamous Er Guo Tou, not a Wal-Mart brand liquor. It's absolutely disgusting and will give you a nasty headache, but it's so cheap that even relatively poor Chinese people can afford to get drunk all the time.

I've never seen alligators on sale like that, but most of the rest of the pictures are fairly typical of Chinese Wal-Marts and similar stores in China.

Chinese people might be thinking how weird it is that American Walmarts have 5-pound bags of candy...

But I did laugh at "diet water".

I brought some of these bottles back to Europe as a gift to some highschool friends.. They thought I tried to poison them ;)
I guess it's just drinkable if you have to sweep streets all day long at 5° C rain weather...

The diet water seems to be from Sapporo which was IIRC a Japanese trademark.

Exactly. That's what they eat there. What's weird about it?

Yes, a little stringy for my preferences, I prefer meats like venison. Why?

The frog in the pickle jar looks shopped

I'll bet the last two pictures are shopped.

As for the rest... well, not really weird. You Westerners need to be more adventurous. :p

As a whole, Chinese people don't eat dog as much as Americans would like to think.
A number of towns and villages in Guangdong, doesn't speak for the rest of the Chinese race.

Though, pig's intestine, pig's tail, chicken feet, frog's legs and sea cucumber are really popular =p.

    Don't like sea cucumber though.

You go to the beach. Walk about 10 metres deep. There should one on the ground. Pick it up.

Its looks like this when cooked.

I don't like it though. Taste too rubbery and chewy.

I know when I come home from a tough workout, I love to cool down by drinking a nice refreshing bottle of beef stroganoff! Ahh, crisp and meaty, just like mom used to make!
