Religion today is a very controversial subject.
We live in very poor times. With lots & lots of people losing their faith & the "apocalypse" coming, is there still room for faith?

I created this thread so that people can be more appreciative & have more respect with other religions in dark, dark times. So talk about your religion here. There are certain rules here in this thread.

1. Respect each other. Follow the Golden Rule or the principle of karma or whatever. NEVER SAY BAD THINGS THAT TO OTHER RELIGIONS THAT HURT THEIR FATH. Or else I will report you. I'm only 12. This is a democratic thread.
2. NO ATHEISTS ALLOWED IF YOU ARE JUST HERE TO TRASH OR SPAM THIS THREAD. Agnostics are allowed here in this thread if you want to discuss about your couriosity conserning the existence of God. All people who believe in a supreme diety or dieties, enlightened beings, religions that follow a series of texts, a supernatural force or a spiritual force are welcome.
3. NO SPAMMING. EVER. Be tolerant.
4. Talk here about what your religion is like, & the problems we face today.
5. NO SWEARING. This is a child-friendly thread. Remember that I'm only 12.

For those people who think this thread is stupid, you're stupid. Because all you think about is just go with your normal lives not caring about the world. I'm a Roman Catholic. Thank goodness there is a Second Vatican Council.

They were hoping that the apocalypse would arrive. They didn't actually know if it would, unlike in a doomsday scenario where it is inevitable.

I believe that the collective conscious and subconscious of all entities, living and 'inanimate', represents our soul/god. Heaven and hell are future options for the world. When you die (personally) it's over, no more personal awareness blackness forever buh-bye you had your chance to make a difference, buddy.

Well, I'm a Christian; I used to go to a Baptist church but my mother forced me to stop going. I'm reading a bunch of C.S. Lewis's work because he's great.

Allright, I'll kick it off, sorta. My religion is *look at sig*. We're different from Itshnasheries, or the Twelvers as they are known, because we believe in Ismail's other son to be the heir to the Nuh (The blessing starting with Ali pbuh). Also, we have a currently living Imam, whereas the Twelvers ended long ago. However, we are the smaller sect in Shi'a Islam, just like Shi'a is smaller in all of Islam. Currently, we're being bombarded with the religionist (Is that a word?) view all Muslims are terrorist/Al Queda Workers/Iraqi/Iranian/fundamentalist.

What exactly is the topic? Your rules could be translated as "come here and praise Catholicism, yeah, and admire me for being so mature". Who does not want that is stupid.

Why would people do that... uhm, let me think - because 95% of terrorism today is perpetrated by Muslims?

Any muslims out there???? Since that Islam is a very contreversial subject today, here is what I think.

There are 2 kinds of Muslims in the world. Good muslims & Bad muslims. Good muslims are those who are humble & are against Al-Quaida (Sorry, I don't know the spelling of the most wanted terorist group on Earth) & know better about Jihad. Bad muslims are the terrorists. They do not know the meaning of Jihad & they do not respect others as good muslims do. Here in the Philippines, Islam is part of our culture.
