I googled for trolling (which flaming W accused me of) and found more or less the same thing. (Actually I found that accusing someone else of trolling is a trolling tactic in itself. I got so fed up I reported W to a Moderator, which resulted in... nothing - as far as I can tell -, so I put him on my Ignore List.)

I have posted this in both the McCain and Obama threads, as they have equally drifted astray...

Please avoid personal attacks and stick to discussing the leaderhead.

I know Jeleen, it's a scary thought, she's already said she want's war with Russia in her first interview, and she thinks we're in the "end times." But the LH would inspire a good discussion here.

McCain says he would fire Republican SEC chief Cox

    Thu Sep 18, 2008 9:35pm EDT

    By Jeff Mason

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Reuters) - Republican presidential nominee John McCain said on Thursday a top Bush administration official should be fired for failing to regulate Wall Street and allowing markets to be used as a casino.

Now that measures are finally being taken McCain talks tough. Sounds more like a ****oo too me... where was this veteran US Senator when the mortgage crisis started?

I like Obama's response Jeelen, he said that in November the voters will have a chance to fire this entire republican crowd, not just Cox, McSame's new scape-goat. In November, the republicans are going to be run out of Washington on a rail.

What a surprise... and here I thought you'd tear-into Obama and have him for lunch instead of fawn over all his beautiful speeches. Go figure. :mischief:

That was enlightening. So (I'm guessing) Republican Senator McCain (who, BTW, is a veteran, so I don't see any cynicism in calling him what his campaign already likes him to be seen as) first backed a Republican mortgage reform plan (flip), now attacks Republican measures taken at long last (flop). Just the sort of change that's needed. (And I am using "change" in the same cynical way Senator McCain copied it from his Democratic opponent.)

It is clear Senator McCain can't wait to be President; it would be interesting to know if he then stands by his word... or does another flipflop.

Wolfshanze, It was a well measured response for such a ridiculous political ploy meant to distance McSame from an increasingly disastrous administration at a time of financial catastrophe.
