Liberté, Égalité, Hégémonie!

I didn't kill a lot of the nations, so I just added up their total population based on estimates and then counted how many would be killed if I nuked/bombarded them all to oblivion.

Good god man! Hitler would be proud.

Hitler? As far as I now Mao Zedong, followed by Stalin, was the greatest mass murder in history. (but of course they wouldn't be proud on the filthhy, cappitalist French;))

I am unable to upload files as attachments in PMs, so I am bumping this thread with a treat: the modded map file that gives the civs all the cities and whatnot.

This was requested by King of Anshan, so I figured I would share it with everyone.

All credit goes to Rhye for the original awesome map and mod, of course.

Mao killed 200Mil

Hitler: 7Mil

Stalin: 14- 20mil

But those numbers shouldn't be relied upon due to the fact that had the Nazis lasted longer they certainly would have at least doubled their number of dead...

The Holocaust killed 11 million people; 6 million is just the number of Jews.

And the Nazis killed a lot of people outside systematic genocide; WW2 claimed what was it, 60 million lives? While lots of those were in Asia, Germany killed plenty of others through ruthless campaigns and tactics. I forget if the Holocaust counts towards the 60 million number or not.

Though, this is better for the History forum; this story is finished. :p

WW2 deaths shouldn't be included in numbers Hitler killed. He probably killed more like 12 million, though.

Why not? He started the War in Europe. Logically, pretty much all of the deaths on the European front can in turn be pinned on him. :p

Though this is more of a debate for the History forum... (which I never visit, though!)
