limited era

Hi all, I would like to ask how do i limit the era the game can reach?
For example if i want to make a full game on classical age how can i do it?
and.. is there any mod for New World or something related so players can play only with american native civs?

i don't think that it is possible to stall the march of time in the main game but if you play on marathon it takes a long time to reach the modern era (infact it takes a long time to reach the classical era)

there are mods for the classical era (including the scenarios with the game)

You can end the tech tree easily in the XML.

Go to BTS/Assets/XML/Technologies/Techinfos

you will see n each technology a line like this

<bDisable>0</bDisable>

change the 0 to 1 like this


<bDisable>1</bDisable>

That will disable the technology. Then you just decide where you want the tech tree to end.

to start it late, I think the only thing will be advanced starts.


Second question, just start a custom game where oyu can select the AI opposition. yiou can have more than one aztec for example.
