4 Questions:

1. Did I make contact with Haida, or with any of the Pacific Nations? I sent scouting ships west, and up the coast of America...

2. Do I know all the Antarctic civilizations, or just Ross and Antarctica?

3. Does it still cost 2 points to set up a trade route, or has that changed?

4. How many points would it take to make a Panama canal? Or would it require a wonder?
PLEASE reply to questions 2-4, as well as whether I made contact with any of the Pacific/East Asian nations...

1. You've contacted the Haida.
2. Just Ross and Antarctica.
3. 3 points.
4. Karthage did it for free, but it took 2 turns and occupied many aquamancers. You could do the same.

Cheers Iggy, three minor points - I thought Elgovia spent their spending points last turn? (I know they sent me some money and did stuff, but if not then great!)

and how are you valuing the 'Found extra cities a turn' ability for wonders? It seems a tad variable...(and cheap).

Finally could you add some sentance to the rules on how trade works now?

Rivers perform the same job as roads. They're not necessary for you.

Well he has some cities not on the river network + short cuts are always nice.

In other news: the Pentangle of Hyperborea, may it ward us while we sleep.

From:Hawaii
To: Ross, Antarctica

Greetings! We wish nothing but peace between our peoples, so that we can work to contain the horrid necromancers who threaten us all. Would you both agree to an NAP and possibly trade?

OOC: You didn't create stats for Dur Veliz(my puppet state). Also, how do puppet states work? Do I do detailed orders for them, give general orders for them, or no orders at all?

That's not spam. And where's multisapiea!?!

It's too small to have stats yet. But once it's big enough, you send general orders for it in your orders.

To Ross from Antarctica

We don't like the Hawaiians, they are ugly they stink and they are bad people, like all other humans generally. We will trade with them however and we're glad you've opened up your arms to these people as if they were capable of friendship and love. Your little penguin-arms will soon feel how it is to flap around aimlessly when they bury a spear deep into your chest through a massive forceful blow as your blood seeps slowly into the ground and your kinsmen flee in terror or die fighting.

On the bright side this will net many of the goods you desire from the north. =^_^= ...

So when and how are we going to defeat this 'evil menace' our expedition is so intent on investigating? As you are pretty much the expedition leader we would be happy if you were to relay any plans in the future as this project progresses. We have trained Ice Clerics, our own version of holy magic and they will be at your service in the war against darkness.

Also, thanks for the trading; it has done us a lot of good. :)

Your little flippers then friend. :)

*in my vocab. flippers means a part of your standard swimming gear*

Before I go into details, since I don't have the time to read 800+ posts, I'll just ask: Is there anything in Japan?

EDIT: Aww, apparently. I'm checking the map images right now.

EDIT2: Is it required to read all before starting? I can do that, too, it'll just take a few days.

you'll find out, which countries are you?

Ones far far (possibly luckly) away from Khemri - what you going to do the great Ritual of Nagash or something? [begins searching for his Felblade...maybe behind the couch?]

Prosperous.. Means I get 5 economy points?

Distribution:

-Increase loyalty, 1pt (1/3p for increase)

-Train 100 cavs and 100 archers for 2p

-10 Communicators for one point

-Increase education (Average requires 4p, 1pt, 1/4 for increase)

If I won't get the economy points first turn, then just leave it for tomorrow :)

---------------

After a long time of enmity, the Kojaro left theirformer homelands, disgruntled over the conservative methods of China. The Ganso clan felt strongly that a new period of necromancy in China had begun by the ability to reanimate dead bovines without souring the milk, but the traditionalist CHinese regime had banned all such magic. Furious, the Kojaro left for the southwestern lands, hoping to become the leaders in cheese production throughout the world..

Sorry about that, I have to go in five aznd needed a little background story
