Remember 10 turns per round - STRICT 24 hours got it, total 48 to complete.
5 to 10 turns per round upon entering the industrial age.

Sign up requirement - a previous military win on deity, a PC that can handle huge+ maps, huge map experience a major plus. You should be committed to the large time the later turns take.

    The following tactics are PROHIBITED:

RoP Abuse Tactics - Denying resources, blocking key tiles, RoP rape, or other ways to screw-up a civ via the RoP. A scout in AI territory has an explicit RoP and is subject to this rule.

Peace Treaty abuse - If you get concessions from the AI you must wait for the 20 turns to end before declaring another war.

Resource abuse - You can't disconnect / reconnect a resource every turn for the sake of building cheap units to upgrade with excess cash.

Ship chaining exploit - you can move a ship, unload troops to another ship in the same square not using any movement, move that ship, etc. This allows you to ship an indefinite distance, and that is why I consider it an exploit.

The negative science exploit - you can run a huge deficit (-250 / turn) of negative cash with a token penalty of one lost worker / cheap building. If cash will go below zero, the research level must be dropped.

Palace Jump - You abandon the capital city to move the palace to a new location. If you want to move the palace, build a new palace.

Mass troop jumping - You can't give away a give a city to transport a large amount of troops to another landmass.

Worker baiting - You can't spread around and sacrifice workers to an oncoming attack. This is often done to avoid losing real units or cities. This takes advantage of the AI failure to prioritize targets.

    Standard LK house rules:
    1) Worker automation of any kind is prohibited.

    2) Worker blockades are prohibited. This prevents things such as fortifying workers along the coast to stop invasions, blocking troops from going through your territory with workers, etc. Workers activity doing something along the coast is fine. The workers must be actively doing something.

    3) You may not declare war on a civ if you are currently shipping cash and / or goods to the civ.

    4) Even if not covered under exploits listed, please try not to use tactics that take advantage of holes in the game design.

    5) Our reputation is golden - please respect it.

    6) Self-research is highly preferred, if it is viable. I would rather invest money in beakers to toward science, then waste it on demands. Minimum research is discouraged unless we have no viable alternatives. This may happen at times such as going for republic early on, or late game to insure we get nationalism.

    7) As you probably know barbs are screwed up in C3C. It is preferred that you add the following line to your Civ3 .ini file - noAIpatrol=0. Adding "noAIpatrol=0" to the .ini file turns the annoying patrolling back on for the AIs, but also restores movement to the barbarians.

I was hoping to get some of the LK87 crowd. ;)

I don't plan Russia again. The rest of europe wouldn't be viable as we be lucky to get 2 cities.

I guess I'm ready for another WM game, but there is a chance my computer will not handle it well. If you don't mind, sign me up for now.

If you want someone to pull the trigger, and can autoskip me for 3 weeks I am your man.
If not, that is cool too.
Iro, India, Zulu, and Japan are my choices on civs.
India for the very nice commericial, plus the short anarchy, and a very nice and well timed UU.
Iro for the just sheer awesomeness of the civ traits compared to its neighbors and a top tier UU.
Zulu for the location, plus militaristic.
Japan for mil, rel and a top tier UU. It would be important to get a 2 or 3 foothold with them though.

Sorry, but that is a bit to long of an auto-skip period.

India has been played in LK65.

Maybe someone in America like Iros? Is it too far away from the "old world"? (getting contacts would be a big problem)

Otherwise China seems to be a very decent choice.

The Iroquois and America are in point-blank range of each other. That would be downright brutal.

Previous world maps were: Russia, Germany, China, Australia, Brazil, Songhai, Zulu and America IIRC.

lurker's comment: This lurker would love to see you guys start in the Americas somewhere. Iroquois seem natural. Maybe Argentina?

I'm good for another round. No preferences on the civ, I'd just like some distance from Otto starting out. ;)

I had a look at Argentina.. commercial and militaristic are decent traits for world conquest...
But what is up with that Gaucho UU? A cavalry that doesnt require horses? What are they riding..? Llamas..? Donkeys? :D

I was leaning toward Argentina as one of the possibilties.

The Gaucho are still riding horses. I just wanted something different for yet another UU cavalry. That is still a nice time for a GA.

With Microbe being concerned about his PC handling this, I feel I have to get 5 players.

I would prefer to get someone that can play during that time. However, if don't get a 5th in the next few days I will start with Romeo getting the fifth slot. In that case I will change the player order, as it is better to have a builder before a warmonger.

I really wish I had the RL time to commit to this. I'm sure my computer could handle it (now), but I just don't. I wish you luck on finding a fifth, Lee.

To other lurkers -- it should be a rush. JOIN!
