LK137 - Monarch, Khemr, Medium & Small

Lurker's comment :
it would be weird not be able to found corporations while
running Mercantilism.

Yep, probably bug in 3.13 patch as it doesn't make any sense. Oh well, let's revolt out of Mercantilism now that other civilizations have done that too.

@LK, if my set comes around again before Saturday skip or swap me again. Holiday madness is spreading

I can play Sundays but the rest of the week is just too bushed

OK, I set off a golden age and then revolted to free market. I didn't found mining inc because I didn't really see the point. Opened borders with Hammurabi and Charlemagne.

We only have one spaceship tech to go and the space elevator is due next turn. Should take 2 more turnsets I think. Brennus and Sitting Bull are busy warring with grenadiers and cavalry. One city changed hands a lot during my turnset.

1930 AD
The last two parts are in progress, so there is no reason to even review the cities.

1933 AD
(IT) The space ship is launched.

1936 AD
(IT) After we've completed the spaceship, we get the random comet event that improves labs and spaceship parts being built. :crazyeye:

1938 AD
(IT) We complete Hollywood.
The game decides to be a royal again during my turns, as Ragnar declare war.
Hopefully he won't reach us before the spaceship lands.

1939 AD
Our meaningless spy in merged into the capitol.
(IT) Ragnar commits mass suicide by our aluminum city.

January 1941 AD
(IT) Another AI colony was formed, as Elizabeth introduces herself.

July 1943 AD
(IT) It won't ever see a vote, but the UN is completed.

January 1944 AD
We get another meaningless specialist.

New Updates
There is no suspense at all here. We won a space race victory. This was the biggest blowout I've had at monarchy. I don't know if Sooooo comment about AI sucking at water map explains all of this.
I suspect a good part of the game was won we get got away with Greece becoming a non-event, followed by his elimination.

I am so glad I banned the use of the BUG mode in the LK series. The replay is once again completely trashed.

This shows was a blowout this one was.

The final score is 29,744 and we are August Caesar.

While the game was little disappointing with no contest, I'm fully satisfyed to beat the game after humiliating loss of LK134 :)

Good game everyone!

I was a bit worried about the lack of land tiles in the beginning, but it turned out to be a non-issue. See you in another game.

The LK planning thread has one right now. :D
