The patched CCM2.50 has the timescale of CCM1, meaning it will be more accurate for about 3/4 of the game, but in era 4 the date scale progresses far more in the future. The alternative would be to set the time scale to months, what would be somewhat annoying for most parts of the game, as you receive dates like January 3000 BC when starting a turn.
