Loan money (strategically used)

Do you use loan money?

If yes, is it important in your development strategy? How and for what?

I did this the first few games that I have played, but haven't since. These days, no civ seems to have enough money to loan anyway (I keep them paying through the teeth).

I guess you can say that is the ultimate loan !
