Logged off mid-session

Several times over the last week while browsing CFC I have been told that I'm not logged in. I definitely was logged on as I had posted earlier in the session. Is there some setting or other possible problem on my end?

If it helps, I am also receiving email notifications to threads I have not yet checked the new posts. I thought I wasn't suppossed to get another notification until I checked the thread.

I think it keeps sending the notices if your browsing the site.

I think you get a new e-mail every time you log on again and some new post was made a subscribed thread. Not checking the thread during a session doesn't matter. I assume that you logged on again after being 'kicked out' w/o checking all threads meanwhile anyways.
About the log-off: I guess it's dependent on your control panel options. Not sure, but I *think* if you unchecked auto-log-on, you get disconnected after some time of not browsing/posting etc.

I have been getting that alot in the last week as well. I did double check my control panel to make sure the auto-login was still enabled and it was, so it must be something with the site.

Anyway, also ensure that your browser has cookies enabled. You'll need 'em to get the forum to log you on automatically.

My browser is enabled as this feature has been working fine for awhile and still does a majority of the time.

YUMBO! = C3C reference (look close you'll find it)

I have not changed any of my CFC options or settings, nor my browser settings. Cookies are enabled, I should be logged in everytime -- and I usually am but the last week has resulted in these issues. Since they're so few others having them I will assume it is something on my end and just put up with it.
Ignore it and it'll go away.

Hey it just happened again and I realized I didn't notice/mention that when I log back on I always get the takeover ad of the day. Maybe the takeover is doing it?
