Long delay between music tracks

Hello everyone.

I am having a weird issue that I cannot figure out. Sometimes, in various mods, the music will stop playing for a few minutes when the track that is currently playing finishes, and the music will not immediately go to the next track for a while. Sometimes, the music just stops playing all together at that point and I have to disable/re-enable music in options to get it to kick back on.

Any idea what is going on here? No I am not using the custom music folder option, but rather listening to the in-mod music that is played through the XML files.

No, it is not dead but there is not much traffic here. I'm sorry that I cannot help, since I turned off the music many years ago. However, you might try asking in the CIV General Discussion forum. Traffic there is much higher. Someone who knows about this might answer there faster than here.
