Looking at the mirror question

I was wondering if you always see the same thing when you are looking at the mirror, or some times it is different, to an important degree. I ask that since i have been suffering from a mild case of BDD and sometimes i see something very different, although the regular image is more persistant.
However i have been told that what you see in the mirror is very much dependant on how you feel (and moreover think). In general lines if one is happy he will be seing a better image, more positive, whereas when he is unhappy or angry a worse image. Of course some people see a very nice image when in reality they are average looking, but that is more pathological and of no interest to me in this question.

So, what do you see, something stable or something altering to some degree? :)

I avoid mirrors so I don't suffer the same fate as Narcissus.

Dang then you need to self publish in the sexy dudes thread. :)

FWIW, I have no issues, etc.. when I look at a mirror.

It depends what I'm wearing, how my hair is, if I've shaved, how tired I am, which mirror I'm looking in, and whether it's day or night, but mostly I see myself in the mirror.

Your self image alters with your confidence and your mood. So how your perceive your mirror image must alter too. Pretty obvious I think. BTW. What's BDD?

I usually just see the stubble I have to shave, which reminds me that I hate shaving. Honestly don't usually do any sort of mental "you rock" or "you suck" checkup when I see a mirror.
