Looking for a digital purchase option in Denmark

I am a great fan of Civilization IV, well, Sid Meier products in general..

I however am aching from the fact that I cannot seem to find a place where I can purchase "Beyond the Sword" digitally (buy online and download/enjoy), so far where ever I have tried, I am receiving a "Country Restriction" error..

I am wondering, do I really have to go and buy it retail because I live in Denmark?

If anybody can enlighten me, I would much appreciate it!

What, Denmark has high-tarriff barriers to protect the critical Lego industry?

I don't know which ones shut you out, but the one I've used in the past is Direct2Drive. Hope this helps.

Steam has Beyond the Sword for 19.99€. I have reliably purchased games from them before.
However, unless you really want to buy a digital copy, coolshop.dk has the amazing bargain of Civlization IV Complete for just 99 DKR (approximately 13&#8364, including free shipping.

i have had problems with a digital purchase ( i used direct-to-drive ) which i initially used to purchase civ. 4 , and later, warlords; the problems arise with updates; when i purchased, and attempted to load beyond the sword, i was prompted to update civ. 4, for which i had no hard disk; i was unable to use a program i had already paid for; i would suggest that you purchase the program(s) whereby you will have a hard disk; i have since purchased civ4 and beyond the sword on hard disks and no problems; good luck

Athrael, don't go with a downloaded version until you've exhausted all your options for getting a hard copy of the game. Couldn't you try ebay and look for sellers who'll post internationally? Because of problems like what urbanknight just described, most people who have bought a downloaded version have later complained of various problems which people with the disks did not experience.
