I have never participated in a PBEM game before but have been playing Civ3 for years now and played some multipler online a few times lately. I can own the computer on Emperor level and probably could win on Diety just have never tried as I don't like the AI bonuses as a means for increasing the games difficulty. Anyway, yeah, I'd really like to find a PMEM game that offers a challenge that the computer can not, and with the length that online play consistently lacks. I am open to limited modding as I usually play with the Apolyton University AI Mod when I play single player.
I am looking for a game where people will play to the bitter end, or close to it, something that has not even come close to happening when I play online.
