So, I'm trying to download a patch for WoW, but when the download finished it says I don't have enough disk space. I thought I'd try put it on the other disk( D instead of C, I'm not very good with computers : P) which has plenty of space.

HOWEVER, I have no idea how to get it download into D, or any of that whole shizzle with getting the wow files into D.

I tried compressing the files in C, but alas, I still lack the nessecary space.

Could anyone help me with getting it to download into the right place?
Thanks :D

did you go to My Computer while saving, and then get the D drive there?

What browser are you using? Or are you downloading the patch ingame?

If its ingame, I suggest you use your browser and merely point it to save somewhere else other than C:

Er, brower? I am utterly computer illiterate ^^

The downloader is automatic and I can't see how I can make it save into D, I tried opening the downloader in the D version of the files, but it still gave me the error message, sometimes I wish WoW wasn't so straightforward :p

Yes, I did it through my computer>C: or D> copied the files.

Even more annoyingly I managed to make enough room so I only need 0.2 'GBs' more XD

Anyways as said the downloader does it all itself, when I finish downloading the files, it comes up with an error message saying there was not enough room...please try doing it on a diffeent disk.

I don't know how to make it download into D rather than C though >.> ...would it need to be uninstalled and reinstalled into D? D:

Thanks for your help xxx

*Browser. The thing you use to access the internet. Im gonna assume for you its Internet Explorer.

I don't know hw WoW works but there's a good chance the patch needs to be installed on the same drive and same folder as the game.

It would need to be installed in the same place, but I doubt its necessary to download it to the same folder.

I said it has to be installed to the same folder. From what I get C: is full so he could download it to D: but he still couldn't install the patch.

Try installing WoW onto drive D?
