looking to play

I am a newbie to multiplayer games (never done it b4) & would like to try my skill against flesh & blood opponents. (I am rusty as I haven't played for a year since my copy became corrupted)

I usually play Civ ToT at Emperor level though I can play higher (& often win). I have a 56k modem & am available for long hours usually on weekends tho I can play for approx 3 hours on certain weeknites after 6 pm with advance notice.
