Losing Player in 1926 in PTW

My friend and I have been playing this game for a few weeks now, and we were getting very close to the end when it stared to drop one of us at the beginning of the turn.

I'm the host (justo) and I usually see the waiting for friend pop-up then he gets dropped.

We play over DSL with updated Win XP systems and both have 512 RAM. Anyone have ideas why the game is dropping one of us?

How late into the game are you? Industrial Age? That's when lag starts to occur. It has gotten better in Civ3 Conquests.

Yup. In Industrial... We are a couple turns from modern. Any ideas of how we can solve this issue or what might be causing the choke and drop?
