LuckNES V

You're asking for half of Hungary and the symbolic heart of Tsarist might, when, if the new player had actually bothered to be informed by consulting his allies, your defeat is pretty much assured.

I find mmfan1 suspicious, seeing his first action on joining is to surrender.

OOC: I was talking about the peace with Russia. I do not expect Hungary to accept this peace because I want all of Hungary. I would hope that would be clear after all the effort I went through earlier in an attempt to get all of it.

I will not allow such a peace to be signed between Hungary and Prussia. As with all seriousness mmafan is probably Fuschia or one of his friends.

OOC: Again, I do not expect Hungary to sign the peace, nor do I know who mmafan is. I want all of Hungary, and the peace was designed specifically to piss Hungary off so they would keep fighting. Besides, what do I gain if Hungary signs a peace with me? I will most likely control their entire nation by the next update. :p

OOC: Alright, in that case I apologize. I've been accused of doing something similar, and understand how insulting it can be.

OOC: Thank you. Also, in my defense, I only know two people on this forum, one of whom completely messed with my plans by withdrawing Romania from the war; the other would probably not want to be associated with me, so I'll not tell who it is. Rest assured, though, as he is not playing in this particular NES. :p

May I join this NES? I'm an unexperienced player (can someone explain trading, resources, and investing in other countries to me please?). I'd like to take over the Turkish Sultanate[, or possibly Sweden (if Justo wants Britain and lucky thinks that I can handle it)].

(Can straits like Gibraltar, Bosforus, the Dardanelles, etc be crossed without transports? If a bridge is needed, it could be completed in one turn, right?)

Btw, if the answer to that it yes, I'd like to set up embassies with France, Quebec, Mexico, US, Britain, Sweden, Prussia, and Russia.

If you want to build a bridge over Gribaltar, one of the world's biggest shipping lanes. The straits see over 5,000 ships a week, it would have to be a pretty high bridge or you would be wasting money on a bridge that rises up to allow these behemoth cargo ships access.

Other nations, most notably France, (me) would not like this as the Straits keep us in contact with our Vassals and colonies in the Med. Sea. And a bridge would most likely hinder our ships from what would be a routine drive down.

Plus a bridge over Gibraltar pushes even modern architectural and construction techniques to the maximum.

OOT: K, I guess I'm the Turks now.

To the World
From the Turkish Sultanate
I, Mehmed V, would like to apologize for any confusion my foreign minister might've caused; the bridges we suggested would serve to connect people, rather than separate them. Do more developed nations believe that a raisable/retractable bridge over the Bosphorus strait could be built in a relatively short amount of time? We would also like to apologize for any disturbance that our country might cause to foreign trade; we're currently undergoing a peaceful revolution that will soon be taken care of by my ministers.

To France
From the Turkish Sultanate
We would like to assure France of our loyalty to the country that freed us from the corrupt Abdülaziz. We would also like to inform them that the revolutionary movement poses no threat to France, and in fact supports even tighter collaboration with the most powerful empire of the world.

To the world
From the Turkish Republic
We would like to inform the nations of the world that the ongoing reformation in the Ottoman state is entirely peaceful and will most likely not impact foreign relations.

To Romania
From the Turkish Republic
The Turkish people would like to ask Romania if a diplomatic alliance between our two states would be possible once Mehmed V forms a more liberal form of government and abdicates. We would also like to set up an embassy with you.

To Prussia
From the Turkish Republic
The Turkish people look down on hostility in Eastern Europe that might be detrimental to the global balance of power.

To the Eastern Alliance
From the Turkish Republic
The Turkish people are perplexed by your alliance with Prussia.

To Turkinish Sultanate
From France

We are pleased to hear this. We look foward to stronger ties between our two nations.

The war in Eastern Europe is, effectively, concluded. You are late and unoriginal in your complaints, as both France and every other major European power have shown that they also do not wish Prussia to disturb the delicate balance of power. We have no intention of disturbing the balance, as the Prussian Union is simply decapitating the already lifeless corpse of the Russian Empire and taking part of the body for itself.

As for our alliance, those who ally with the Prussian Union become strong, as is shown with Japan and China; those who oppose the Prussian Union become weak, as shown by Russia, Hungary and, to a much lesser extent, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and America. You would do well to remember that, while your alliance with our good friends in France shields you from any direct action, insulting a major world power is never a good idea.

We heartily accept your offer. We believe that this act is yet another step closer to peace in Eurasia.

When are orders due?

@Luckymoose: Bloody hell, I'm wishing to reside as the great, Great Britain.
Long live her majesty!

OOT:
Just in case you didn't know Iownz, Britain and the US are currently fighting the Asian Alliance and Britain was probably about to counterattack.

Britain is also at war with Prussia, although not entirely active except for naval

Well, I shall participate, and then leave. Britain is mighty! It shall never fall!
