Global News:
The Great War is finally over as peace talks conclude. The Allies claim victory, but the Asians roll in the glorious new lands under their rule.
Americas:
Over a year since the introduction of the oil industry in Venezuela and the government is still in search for more oil, expanding the current fields and hoping that the business will continue to boom. After unexpected troubles with the communists last year it seems to have quieted down a bit. With a large Mexican military expedition force being sent to Zulia to prevent Venezuelan aggression, it is possible a large war could break out in due time.
In Mexico it seems the problems from the workers party were mostly funded by the now rich party heading Nicaragua. The border has been tightened up to prevent more funding going through and the crack down on bandits/revolutionary activity is working for now.
America, hot off the heels of victory in Europe, switches to heavy industrialization of the west, railroads and even some concrete roads are being built. The people are generally happy with the outcome of the war, though they still have a taste for revenge on Japan. Working with the locals and officials in west Africa help to easily incorporate them into American hands. The American Empire is on par with those Europeans.(+2 Private Enterprise)
Quebec continues to sport the largest active combat aircraft force. With recent breakthroughs with new machine guns it won’t be to much larger before truly combat worthy planes come out Hernandez Aeronautics.
Brazil and Plate remain diligent in research.
Europe:
The peace is signed and new borders are filled in. Prussian defeat leaves the people angry at the King and his government, raising the dissent for the entire nation. As the Russians annex the Baltic coast and make Poland into a Grand Duchy under Russian rule it seems that the formerly second rate power is on the road to becoming a true threat to continental Europe once again.
Reparations have yet to be paid, while the Prussian military is shrunk to turn the needed materials and manpower towards rebuilding. The Russians and Swedish focus on rebuilding the damaged lands they gained in the treaty. (+1 Private Enterprise Russia) A new cooperation pact is signed by a majority of eastern European nations to help rebuild. The Russian build a large line of defense. With concrete bunkers and stationary artillery peaces. Hoping to prevent any future war with the Prussians.
Britain, in an attempt to keep the people in Iceland calm, sells the island back to Denmark. Much to the delight of the people. (+1 IC Denmark)
The French army leaves Berlin and head home. Just as the French withdraw from the Middle East.
The Romanians invest in oil exploration and find a few pockets of oil. Nothing like they were hoping.
Middle East:
The new Islamic republic, being funded from outside sources in secret, is finally organized. With the annexation of Turkey being one of the things signed by France. However the some of the population in Turkey were furious of this and fought off the new Islamic army and prevented them from gaining much territory. It is rumored to be supported by France in an effort to ruin the Caliph.
Asia:
Japan gives into prewar promises made the China and turns a blind eye to the invasion of Manchukuo. The Manchu army is unable to stop the Chinese advance and without much of a chance without Japanese support they surrendered.
CASUALTY LIST:
Qing China: 2 Divisions
Machukuo: 3 Divisions (No longer an independent nation)
While the war was over for now the Japanese navy is continually expanded to prevent defeat if the allies launch another war.
