MacBook shuts down... Eeek!

Recently while playing Civ IV & Warlords, my Macbook shuts down without notification or warning. I'm usually on mains power, and this doesn't happen if I'm doing non-gaming related stuff (internet, word processing etc).

System specs:
2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
31GB available HDD space.

Can anyone help?

Have you checked the temperatures of your CPU cores? Maybe they are overheating? iStat Pro will give you this info.
