macOS Big Sur 11.4 update

I cannot find a link to the Apple release notes but the macOS Big Sur 11.4 update claims to fix issues that caused problems for Civilization VI on 16 inch MacBook Pro models. I was quite surprised to see Civ mentioned by name in the bullet list when updating.

They may have fixed it for Big Sur but I'm on 12.2.1 (Monterey) now and I can't get anywhere near 100 turns before it locks up my MBP completely and I have to restart. I just came back to Civ after trying out Humankind for the last few months and I'm discovering it's unplayable.
