Oh my, finally managed to watch the remaining FI videos - the game *really* needs to warn people about their units in Miasma.

If they do add generic Miasma warnings, I hope there is a way to turn them off because they could become annoyingly repetitive. However, I would be for a "final warning" that next turn unit stands to be destroyed if not moved, though.

Madjinn, quick question; what are your pc specs (gpu, processor) and what settings did you play BE on (high, ultra?)? Noticed a bit of lagg...

I'm playing on Ultra graphics, but my PC is a few years old. I put it together pre-CivV, so it is getting older and needs an update soon.

Combat animations being on does slow the game down though.

Something similar to the 'worker wakeup when a barbarian is near' from CivV should be enough... wake up the unit every turn where it is red and takes damage from miasma.

That's good to hear. For me, anyway. I have a MacBook Pro with the Intel HD 3000 chipset, and while the PC version allows that, I know the PC/Mac specs aren't always equivalent and I hope I'll be able to use it for Civ BE, too.

Would the AI ever put a satellite over your city to deprive you of the economic benefits of having your own satellites in that space or does it not consider that as a strategy?

Edit: KP's UA changed to cities and outposts acquire tiles twice as fast, so outpost growth speed is also buffed from old 50%?

I'm rather pleased that there is something to spoil. Civ games usually have predictable endings because they are about the journey.
