Returned to Civ 5 after a few years. After playing a few games, I've noticed a curious thing. On the King level, the AI Civs appear to have a magic wand that creates units out of thin air. I say this having pillaged their improvements and killed off every unit they make visible. Yet still they pour out of their ravaged city, like a magic zombie army. How does this work? No production, no money, yet legions of powerful units?
I know the AI cheats on higher difficulty levels, but this is ridiculous.
Anyway, if this is a strategy to make the game more difficult then it succeeds.
Civ 5 really is the best. Totally involving, complex, subtle, and designed for thinking adults.
