Out of Curiosity, does moving the mod into the Documents/My Games/Beyond The Sword/MODS folder work?
 
Patch C is up! Thank you to everyone for being patient while I combed through and addressed as many bug reports as possible. If you still have crashes or bugs that I missed with Patch C, please, bring them to my attention.

Also, I did add 2 new espionage missions to Advanced Espionage. (Adding Espionage Missions do not break saves. If only that was true of everything else...) Check them out! ;)

  • Better RoM Change: Religious Victory only requires 67% of your Religion
  • Modular Wonders Change: Piazzo San Marco costs 150 Hammers Less, Obsoletes at Guilds

  • Fixed 2 Infinite Loops
  • Fixed 3 CTD's
  • AI Will not plan wars if there is plenty of room to expand
  • AI correctly counts how many workers each city has
  • AI will build more explorers when it needs them
  • Greatly Improved AI Valuation of Buildings that give Free Specialists
  • Tweaked Revolutions: Happiness and Healthiness will be somewhat larger Revolution Factors, Finances much less so.

Thanks for the "AI Will not plan wars if there is plenty of room to expand" patch, did great on my existing savegame with some civs not wanting to expand further
 
Had my morning coffee and found out a new patch is out, will get it right away. I'm getting addicted to this game (or more like getting addicted to Afforess work) :crazyeye:

Will report ASAP if I find any bugs or so!
 
With patch 1.74 C:

I can't build orchard again - neither on forest tile or apple resource. Also, bug option screen, RevDCM tab have bunch or errors for missing tags. I returned 1.74B patch again, and orchard are there and can be built.
 
While installing latest patch(1.74c) had an error at the end of installation, sayd that "an error has occured during installation". I did run it as administrator(win7/64bit).

I manually extracted the files to desktop and moved them to correct folder and overwritted the older files, and I have same issue that was mentioned above, revdmc tab has error messages on it.

Havent noticed yet any other anomalies though.

There is no Orchard Improvement; it was removed.

There is bug with jewelery and beadmakers hut being built in holy city - in my current game i captured indian city with holy shrine (shrine was giving 11 gold), and jewelery in it was giving +56 commerce (only having single pearl resoure nearby) - about as much as my other 6 cities would give together, when i discovered tech to build beadmakers hut - it was showing me it would add another +26 commerce. (it was around 1000BC with 3-4 size cities).

I'm seeing a bit of a problem with Plato's Academy. It seems that, for whatever reason, it is not getting built in my games, or getting built by civs that are relatively behind. I think this is because things like libraries and Great Academies completely replace the school or scribes (which is required to build it). Surely civs that already have libraries should be allowed to allowed to build this wonder! It seems like such a waste.
 
i've changed the platos academy so that problem does not occur anymore. the change however is not in the AND 1.74 main version. you'll need to download it from the BuildingUpgradeChains thread directly.

Anyway, what is happening with revolutions? They used to be big factor in gameplay, but currently I am wondering are they working (and I turned them on in options), because I haven't seen any... ?

Yes, it's working, but it's been toned down. As I wrote in the changelog, Financial Stability is less of a factor, whereas Happiness and Health are greater factors.
 
Affores, what did you fix terraforming and reforestration in patch C? I just tested with patch D and did not noticed any changes. I still cant plant forest or terraform with culture and fresh water on tile.
 
Wow, you're fast, Afforess. I came on to check and see if you made any progress with my bug and you're already on Patch D. Anyway, it works now! Thanks a lot.
