Sorry about the bug in Patch H. I did fix it, originally when I posted, but my re-upload seems to have failed. Sorry about the inconvenience.
Patch H should be working fine now.

Afforess, do not apologize. Do not bother, just keep up that output! Something new every day keeps us alive too .
Besides, it gives us a chance to contribute.
Patch H second edition works fine: no funny remarks appear and gameplay is smooth in my game.

The long awaited Patch I is out!

Patch I Changes:

  • Fixed Enabled-Disabled Buildings, and message notifying the player
  • AI will not ask for peace multiple times during one turn
  • If the player A declines a request for war from Player B against Player C, player C will be happier with player A
  • Fixed possible memory leaks
  • Fixed Defending Dynamic XP gain
  • Fixed AI calculations for buildings that create specific units faster
  • Added RevDCM's Latest Religous & Inquistion AI code
  • Added Vincentz improved Icons
  • The Diplomacy Settings tab no longer over-rides game option choices.
  • AI will look for farther away tiles when settling cities

There are a lot of critical bug fixes, so I recommend everyone install the patch, ASAP. As usual, it works will all saves.

Nine patches? There's more support for this mod than there's support for most RTSs.

Hi Afforess,

Patched H just over the existing one:
starting the game I again get a load of messages about
BUG Options - failed creating 5 ini's
(maybe my personal problem),
further it works fine !

Thanks again and have a nice weekend (testing ...) all of you!
Viator

Viator, run the game as administrator, that should fix your problem. ;)

What exactly are they? I mean, will limited religions option work properly now?

It's just improved AI. The AI will attempt religious victories when it thinks it can achieve them, and use inquisitors in a more logical way.

Ah, ok. Thanks for clearing that out. Still wish that limited religions is fixed in RevDCM. :(

I like the civic menu I just don't like some of the civic effects such as.. The Ideologue Civics favor progressivism over any other ideal and that seems to be the favorite ideal of every civilization. I am the very opposite of a progressive, not that anyone cares about my politics.. but I was just wondering what files would I want to edit to do this?

While progressivism/socialism ARE very nice, if you found multiple corporations and spread them throughout your cities you'll want to run Objectivism at some point so you can keep your science slider up.

Well thats what i'm talking about I like historical accuracy, progressivism and socialism have never in history worked. So doesn't anybody else think for example "Free Enterprise" ought to do a hell of alot more than -10 percent cost on everything. While socialism and progressivism the widely accepted civic in Civ.. Progressivism is the reason this country is going downhill.. trust me I know history.

The ideology civics have been widely debated in the past, and there is a reason they are not in the recommended install. Anyway, for those of you familiar with the political compass, Objectivism [near-anarchy]represents (-10, -10) and Socialism [total government control] represents (10,10), with a diagonal line in-between where the rest of the civics fall.

Also, the civics are fairly balanced, I spent a long time balancing them. 10% maintenance is a huge boost, it's like a free courthouse in every city.

Yeah I suppose I understand that.. how are these civics written is it a python script, sdk or what? Is there any ways for users to edit them to their own liking?

Mostly XML (plain text). You can edit the Ideology ones, they are in Rise of Mankind/Assets/Modules/Afforess/Ideology Civics.
