Throughtout history flags has been the symbol of identity, history and spirit for civilizations,armys units, ships and organisations, on the battlefield its a battlecry, a rallying point with the power to raise or brake morale, sometimes just raising a flag, a banner or the shiney glimps of a standard appearing on the battlefield would win or loose the battle before even a drop of blood is shed.
I mean would Ceaser's 13th Legion crossed the rubican as motivated without there golden eagle standard, wat would a captain at sea feel and do wen he sees a men of war raising the black flag while sailing in his direction, wat people would have tought when they saw the Russian flag being planted on the Reichstag, remember the iconic photo of a group of U.S. Marines raising the American flag during the battle of Iwo Jima?
so why has the civ developers of civ 5 and 6 leave out such an importand aspect of civilization?
is it possible to make a mod designdto paint flags on units citys ships etc.
finding it dificult to swallow any longer ive decided to post this here to ask for help from fans of civ who've spotted this also..
