I'm currently working on some music using Fruty Loops 3.4 in VPC, but since I don't have the fastest mac, VPC doesn't give me much freedom for creation. So I needed to know, does anyone knows what software I could use on mac os? Classic or X. But I need it to be capable of doing all that Fruty Loops does.

I know this is not the best place to post this thread, but I thought mac user would have a better chance of helping me... THX

Only (free) thing I can think of (for Mac OS 9) is ProTools FREE from Digidesign but it's not really like Fruity Loops - you need to look at apps like Logic Audio.

I'm not into sequencing/loops, so i use ProTools prettyt much exclusively, and things MetaSynth and SoundHack.

Thanks... BTW who is Salvor Hardin?

Salvor Hardin is a character from Isaac Asimov's 'Foundation' novels; a mathematician who developed the science of 'psychohistory' - a mathematical means of plotting the course of future historical events...

The statement in your signature is just to true... I like it! I'll sure read that book soon...

Well, I *was* working on a Mac Civ2 scenario based on the 'Foundation' book(s) but it kinda got left behind when I moved up to Civ3... but since there's no editor yet for Civ3 (Mac) I might just go back and finish it off...
